I am so unbelievably tired! I’m babysitting right now and can barely keep my eyes open. You should have seen me in class today, too. I sit right up front, the closest to the professor, and I must have looked like I was dying or something! I could not keep my eyes open. Three nights in a row with 6 or so hours of sleep is definitely not cutting it. Luckily I can sleep until 8 AM tomorrow if I have to because I don’t have seminar until 9! Phew…I cannot wait to SLEEP!
My professor totally made my day by saying there’s only 3 weeks until Spring Break! When did that happen?! I guess I’ve been too busy to notice that time is flying by! Then I realized that I don’t think I’ve revealed to you my plans! Well, back in August, Evan and I made the executive decision to actually do and go somewhere for SB since it’s our last year as undergrads.
We decided on one of the most economical excursions: A CRUISE!!! We’ll be departing from Miami and traveling to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. Ah! I must have known way back in August how stressed I’d be by this time of the year and how much I would truly NEED a real vacation that requires little-to-no-effort on my part (as far as driving and such). I’ve been holding back my excitement for so long now that it’s weird for it to be close enough where I can actually start jumping up and down about it! This will be my first cruise and the fact that I get to share it with Evan is even better…we always have so much fun when we get to travel!
As promised, I wanted to share with you my hair cutting experience from this afternoon. I wasn’t too nervous and actually felt very comfortable with the hairdresser I was placed with after I met her. I even gave her free reign on my bangs (gasp!) and told her to shape them how she saw fit. Maybe I shouldn’t have done that because she kind of cut them a little unevenly. I have to give her a little credit for getting it close because I have this wicked cowlick on the right side of my forehead and hairline that just wreaks havoc on whoever has to cut my bangs (basically the right side has to be cut longer than the left).
She’s obviously never done this before so I think it really threw her off. She left too much length on the right side so I trimmed them up a little bit to even everything out. Now I’m satisfied 🙂 The best part about this salon is that they give free bang trims whenever I need them. I’ll just have to be a little bit more explicit in my directions next time and make sure she gets it right while I’m there instead of noticing when I get home. Anyway, here’s a cell phone picture (pre-my trimming).
Let’s see, what else before I move onto today’s eats…
I didn’t make it out on my run today so I’ll be hitting up the gym tomorrow for some scheduled cross-training for sure! I’m excited…I feel kind of “blah” today after not getting my run in. I’m sure it has something to do with the exhaustion…
OH! My Peppermint Cheesecake Brownies made $50 for Meghann’s Bake Sale! I’m very excited about this and will definitely be posting some pictures of my own batch I’ll be making before sending some out to the lucky highest bidder!

Okay, FOOD time!
Disclaimer: I’ve been feeling very lazy in the kitchen the last couple of days so these eats may not be the usual.
Breakfast
Kashi Honey Sunshine and OJ
Mid-Morning Snack
Banana and Honey Graham Clif Bar
Lunch
Whole Wheat Tandoori Naan warmed and topped with sauce, goat cheese, and a Tomato Basil Pizza Burger served with a sliced organic navel orange. Yum!
I did a number on the orange…
Mid-Afternoon Snack
The last of my 16 oz. vanilla Chobani topped with dried apricots, Bear Naked Fruit and Nut granola, and cinnamon. Yum!
My classmates brought in some amazing baked goods that I really could not resist! Andes Brownies and Funfetti cupcakes! I had one of each…
Dinner was scrounged up at work. My boss offered their leftover ravioli pasta so I gladly took her up on the offer. It was delicious! I have a picture on my phone but it’s not emailing it to me fast enough so I guess you’ll have to use your imaginations 😦 sorry!
I hope you all had a fabulous Tuesday! I promise to catch up on some more blogs this weekend when I have a second to breathe! Nighty night!

so not to be a creeper but I was commenting on Caitlin’s blog and I saw that we have so much in common: I was on a leash in DisneyWorld when I was 5, because i wandered off in the airport on the way to Florida lol. I have pics of me with a red leash and its so sad. I always remind my mom of my childhood sufferings. haha. those treats from the kids looked so delish!
